Hossam Abdelmaguid has raised concerns among Zamalek SC fans after officially requesting his overdue financial dues. The media figure Hani Hathout revealed a new crisis within the corridors of Zamalek SC, involving Hossam Abdelmaguid, a player for Ludogorets Razgrad.

According to journalist Hani Hathout, via his Facebook account, Hossam Abdelmaguid has taken an official step by submitting a warning to the management of Zamalek SC, demanding the payment of his overdue financial dues, which are estimated to be around 800,000 Egyptian pounds.

Some fans have expressed their discontent over the international defender's decision to file a complaint against his first club, Zamalek SC, arguing that his historical connection to the club should have warranted a resolution of the matter amicably without official complaints. Conversely, other voices have shown solidarity with the player's stance, emphasizing that the demand for financial rights and overdue salaries is a legitimate right for any professional player, regardless of their affiliation.

Hani Hathtout has highlighted another aspect of the crisis regarding the international defender's failure to sign a financial settlement or waiver of his dues before embarking on an overseas professional experience.

Hathtout explained that this type of administrative scrutiny usually focuses on star players with huge contracts, while Hossam Abdelmaguid's file has not received enough attention due to his previous contract with Zamalek SC being relatively modest at around 4 million pounds. This administrative neglect of smaller amounts ultimately led to the escalation of the issue, turning it into a matter of complaints and official warnings.
