Abdel Nasser Mohamed appointed head of Zamalek SC delegation in Rwanda

Hani Hathout revealed through the "Modern Sport" program that Zamalek SC has assigned Captain Abdel Nasser Mohamed, the club's director of football, to lead the first team's delegation during their upcoming trip to Rwanda to face Shabab Al-Aqaba Club in the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.

The decision to choose a football director to take on this responsibility came after several members of the board of Zamalek SC apologized for their inability to travel and lead the delegation for this crucial and decisive match in the African journey, prompting the management to look for an experienced and disciplined alternative to officially lead the delegation.

For his part, Captain Abdel Nasser Mohamed expressed his reservations about this decision and spoke with the club officials, expressing his desire not to take on the presidency of the delegation, given that foreign trips require a lot of effort and complex administrative tasks, which may conflict with his full dedication and focus on fulfilling his core duties with the team.

Despite this desire, the management of Zamalek SC insisted on its decision to keep Abdel Nasser Mohamed at the head of the delegation due to their great confidence in his ability to manage matters efficiently and ensure complete stability and focus for the players and the coaching staff to successfully overcome this African obstacle.
