Gian Piero Gasperini, the manager of AS Roma, discussed several issues concerning his team, noting that the recent international break was an unusual experience, especially since it was for matches not linked to a higher-level competition.

He added that the time has come now to think about the next stage, considering that UEFA and FIFA officials need to evaluate this experience.

Regarding Bryan Cristante's condition, Gasperini explained that the player is recovering from a problem with his lateral ligament and is undergoing treatment. He confirmed that it is not certain he will miss the matches against Como and Real Madrid, but the coaching staff does not want to take the risk of his return before he is fully fit.

The Italian coach discussed last season, emphasizing that AS Roma's success came as a result of several factors, notably the players' strong response to him and their desire to experience a new style of football.

He praised the support he received from AS Roma fans, noting that their shift from viewing him with suspicion as an opponent to appreciation was a significant success and a great reward for him.

Gasperini also spoke about his relationship with the Friedkin family, explaining that he feels their trust and support despite their distance and limited presence in Rome, considering that the presence of Galantique has helped create a closer link between the two parties.

He confirmed that his goal is to restore more communication and presence, especially with the centenary of the club approaching and the new stadium project on the horizon.

Gasperini praised José Mourinho, describing him as a unique personality who has achieved success with AS Roma and earned the respect of a large section of the fans.

He also spoke about the transfer market, emphasizing the difficulty of signing strikers due to their high prices, before praising the performance of Mateo Solé, who recovered from a groin issue and made his debut with the Argentina national team, considering it a reward for the entire team.

Regarding Dybala and Malin, Gasperini confirmed that their presence is important despite the numerical shortage, pointing out that Malin has recovered from his physical issue, while Dybala continues his training. He added: "I am very happy for him, you can see that when he plays he is happy, he has the desire to play and enthusiasm."

Regarding the decision not to travel with Dybala and Molina, it was clarified that the proximity of the match against Como led the club to prefer not to expose them to long hours of travel just before the game.

Regarding Manou Kone, Gasperini confirmed that his transfer in the final days of the market was not possible, and that the player informed him of interest, but the deal did not progress and there was not enough time to complete it, expressing his happiness at Kone's stay and giving him a new opportunity to grow and increase his value.
