Alex Scott leaves England camp due to injury

Alex Scott has left the England camp after suffering a quadriceps injury, returning to AFC Bournemouth for further medical assessments.

The 23-year-old player caught the eye during his first start for England before injury ruled him out for the remainder of the international break.

Tests are ongoing to determine the severity of the injury, with fears that Alex Scott could be sidelined for up to two months, a significant blow for the player and AFC Bournemouth.

The injury comes at a difficult time for AFC Bournemouth, who are also without their player Elye Wahi due to injury.
