Real Madrid monitoring Bayer Leverkusen full-back after England standout

Jarell Quansah, Bayer Leverkusen's full-back, is on Real Madrid's radar after the German newspaper "Bild" reported that the Spanish giants are monitoring the 23-year-old English player.

Jarell Quansah has impressed enough to earn a spot ahead of Trent Alexander-Arnold in the right-back position for the England national team. He joined Bayer Leverkusen in 2025 from Liverpool for €35 million, signing a contract that runs until 2030. The German newspaper reported that Real Madrid is interested in the player, highlighting his strong relationship with Jude Bellingham.

The interest in Jarell Quansah is not limited to Real Madrid, as Chelsea, led by Xabi Alonso, is also monitoring him. Meanwhile, Arsenal attempted to sign him last summer, but Bayer Leverkusen rejected a bid of €65 million.

Liverpool have the option to re-sign Jarell Quansah until June 15, 2027, for a fee of €70 million to Bayer Leverkusen, according to Bild.
