To strengthen the ranks of the Red Giant, Al Ahly call up young duo Shami and Medhat

According to "Youm7" newspaper, Al Ahly FC's coach has decided to enlist youth players Mohannad El Shami and Iyad Medhat in the first team training, immediately after their international mission with the Egypt U20 team.

The newspaper clarified that Al Ahly FC aims from this step to address the deficiency on the left flank with the presence of Al Shami, while benefiting from Medhat to enhance the defensive depth, which aligns with the club's strategy of integrating promising talents that have recently shown brilliance.

Mohannad Al-Shami and Iyad Medhat are set to join Al Ahly FC training after their participation with the Egypt U-20 national team, which is competing in the North African qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations.
