Ittihad Misrati coach praises Al Ahly FC

Jose Gonzalez, the head coach of Al Ittihad Al Misrati, praised Al Ahly FC, confirming that it is a great team with high quality and always plays with a system.

Al Ahly FC secured a victory over Al Ittihad Al Misrati in a friendly match last Monday, winning 4-2.

Jose Gonzalez said in television statements via MBC Masr 2: "I know that Al Ahly FC is a big team and can make a difference at any time and perform well in all matches, because Al Ahly FC always plays with a system."

He added: "We always study the opponent well and we have criteria that we analyze. It is a very good match and we have gained a lot of experience. We know that the team dominates possession and we were playing on the counter-attack."

Jose Gonzalez declined to discuss a specific player from Al Ahly FC, stating: "It is not my responsibility to talk about a player by name; all the players performed well, they are high-quality players in ball possession."

When asked who will top the Egyptian League this year, he said: "I think maybe Pyramids FC, and there are many teams, Zamalek SC for example is playing good football especially in the last two seasons."
