Mosimane sends message to Al Ahly and Zamalek fans

Pitso Mosimane, the head coach of the South Africa national team, has urged Egyptian fans to attend his team's match against Eritrea, scheduled to take place as part of the Africa Cup of Nations Qualification for the 2027 finals.

South Africa will face Eritrea tomorrow, Wednesday, in the second round of the Africa Cup of Nations Qualification, with the match taking place at the Al Salam Stadium in Cairo.

Pitso Mosimane, coach of the South Africa national team, stated in a comment reported by the "idiskitimes" newspaper: "The Egyptian people have a very good knowledge of the Bafana Bafana team, as history and the national team have a good history in Egypt. They know the players and have seen them in the World Cup, and we tell the Egyptians that we are brothers."

South Africa's coach stated: "We may compete again in a few days, but now that we are here, we have a very good history, and even coach Rulani Mokwena is here, and I have been here, we have a very strong relationship with the Egyptian Football Association."

Pitso Mosimane said: "Therefore, we hope that Egyptian fans will come to our match and support us. I am speaking to the Red Devils (Al Ahly FC fans) that they should attend the match and support us and me against Eritrea. Oh Ahly fans, I ask you to come and support us."

Mousimani concluded: "Of course, Zamalek's fans are wonderful, they will come and support us, and we need everyone's support as they know us, and we are brothers."
