Borussia Dortmund extends management contracts with Kramer as chairman

Borussia Dortmund have announced early contract extensions for their executive board members, reflecting great confidence in the current management, with Carsten Cramer taking over as chairman of the executive board with immediate effect.

Lars Ricken's contract as the sporting director has been extended until June 30, 2030, having previously been set to run until 2027.

Karsten Krämer, who is responsible for business operations, digitalization, international expansion, marketing, sales, and communications, has had his contract extended until June 30, 2031, after his original contract was set to expire on June 30, 2027.

Thomas Treis, responsible for finance, organization, legal affairs, and investor relations, has decided to extend his contract, based on his desire, for one more year until June 30, 2028. He will leave the executive management afterwards to focus on membership in supervisory and oversight boards of other companies, alongside independent consulting work, while continuing to advise Borussia Dortmund as needed.

The contract of Sevina Schlinker, who joined the executive management in November 2025, remains unchanged, lasting until June 30, 2028.
