Mourinho rejected Portugal national team job due to Real Madrid

A report from Spanish newspaper "AS" reveals that José Mourinho was a strong candidate to take over as coach of Portugal, and discussions about the project with the Portuguese federation had already begun before things changed unexpectedly.
