Real Madrid receive major boost with Militão's return to training
Real Madrid continue their training at Valdebebas during the international break, with many players absent due to their commitments with national teams. However, they received positive news with Éder Militão participating in training with his teammates, getting closer to a return after recovering from his injury.
According to "Mundo Deportivo", Éder Militão, who underwent surgery on April 28 due to a tear in the proximal tendon of the hamstring in his left leg, has started working on the pitch before participating in group training during Monday's session.
Due to international absences and injuries, the first team players under José Mourinho were limited to Raúl Asensio, Álvaro Carreiras, Antonio Rüdiger, and Aurélien Tchouaméni. Tiago Petarh was absent after being called up to the Spain U20 national team.
Rodrygo and Ferland Mendy continue their recovery programs, having trained with the ball on the pitch, while Fede Valverde is sidelined due to a grade three ankle sprain. Ibrahima Konaté and Kylian Mbappé have also joined the list of injured players during the international break.
Real Madrid return to action on Saturday, October 10, when they host Villarreal at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in the eighth round of La Liga, where they currently sit in fourth place, six points behind leaders FC Barcelona.
