Donis' assistant before Iraq clash: We aim for victory and group leadership

Serafim Angelinas, assistant to Georges Donis, the coach of the Saudi national team, has revealed the readiness of the Green to face Iraq, pointing out that there are some injuries before the anticipated match in the third round of the Semi-Final of the Gulf Cup 27.

Anglinas stated during the press conference: "We have some issues with injuries, and we must focus on the key players and deliver the best with the available options," confirming the Green's desire to achieve victory and secure the top spot in the group.

Denis's assistant stated that the work within the national team encompasses all phases of play, focusing on achieving a balance between defensive and offensive aspects. He clarified that they do not feel pressured to win the Gulf Cup 27.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Abu Al-Shamat has confirmed the readiness of the Green players, stating that the team has proven its preparedness during the first two matches. He noted that the players are approaching the match against Iraq with greater ease and their goal is to achieve a third victory.

Mohammed Abu Al-Shamat has sent a message to Saudi fans, saying: "Everyone within the Green Brigade will give 100%, and we will strive to keep the tournament in Jeddah with your presence, and we will give everything we have and will not let you down," after securing qualification for the Semi-Final.
