Tactical battle behind Iraq and Saudi Arabia clash: Arnold scores against Al Nassr coach

Iraq are set to face Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, September 29, in the final group stage match of the Gulf Cup 27, with anticipation surrounding the tactical battle between Greek coach Georgios Donis and Australian Graham Arnold.

The match carries an intriguing historical backdrop for Iraq's coach, who has a long record of competition with one of the most prominent coaching names currently in Saudi Arabia, in a story that dates back to his years working in the Australian leagues.

Arnold's record reveals 15 previous encounters against Ange Postecoglou, the current head coach of Al Nassr, and the Australian born in the Greek capital Athens, before his family moved to Australia during his childhood.
