Officially.. Frosinone announces Florian Grillitsch undergoes surgery for hernia

Frosinone have officially announced that Florian Grillitsch underwent surgery today to treat a sports hernia using TAPP technique, in order to address the injury correctly.

The club stated that the procedure was performed by Dr. Hervé Bucherney at the Franziskus Margarethen Hospital in Vienna, Austria, confirming that the surgical intervention was completely successful.

Grillitsch is expected to start his rehabilitation program in the coming days, under the supervision of the medical staff, in preparation for a gradual return to full fitness.

Frosinone has not yet set an official date for the player's return to the pitch, as this will be determined based on the developments of the recovery phase and his response to the rehabilitation program.
