Sildrup under Jorge Mendes' umbrella as Benfica seeks to extend his contract

Norwegian Andreas Schjelderup, winger for SL Benfica, has become represented by the "Gestifute" agency, owned by renowned agent Jorge Mendes, according to Portuguese newspaper "Record".

The change of the player's agent comes at a time when SL Benfica is looking to finalize the renewal of his contract, as Shieldrop is currently tied to the Portuguese club until June 2028.

SL Benfica are working to extend the contract of the Norwegian winger until 2031, with several big clubs interested in securing his services, making his future a point of attention in the upcoming period.

Shildrop has joined SL Benfica from FC Nordsjaelland in January 2023, and he is seen within the club as one of the young talents who could play an important role in the team's future.
