Kompany: This is what we showed, and Olise is on a good path
Vincent Kompany, the head coach of Bayern Munich, praised the level his team showed during their impressive 7-0 win against Union Berlin in the 4th round of the Bundesliga.
Kompany said: "The young players were mentally ready for this match. We showed energy, moved the ball well, and had a good reaction to the poor first half in Elversberg. We showed that we are hungry and always want to show our best performance. It was a good performance."
Vincent Kompany spoke about what impresses him most about Michael Olise, saying: "Everything, the way he plays football, but also his character as a person. I don't want to be just a fan of my players; for me, it's important to know what they are like as people. Olise represents the complete package, and it's easy to work with players of this kind. He has been playing at this level for almost two and a half years, and he is definitely on the right path."
He concluded his remarks regarding Jamal Musiala's situation, stating: "We wanted him to take this step now. It was important for him to play 90 minutes before the international break, so he can get past everything that has happened recently; it is about football and performance, and that is what needs to be evaluated."
