Milan close to renewing contract of Pavlovic and increasing his salary
Milan are close to reaching an agreement to renew the contract of Serbian defender Strahinja Pavlović, in a move that reflects the club's desire to retain one of the key elements of their defensive line in the upcoming period.
According to what Daniiele Longo reported, negotiations between the parties have reached an advanced stage, with the club looking to extend Dusan Vlahovic's contract until 2029 with an option for an additional season, alongside improving his current salary.
Pavlović had previously shown his clear desire to continue with Milan, confirming that he feels comfortable within the club and did not wish to leave, despite having opportunities to transfer during the recent transfer window.
Reports indicate that the Serbian defender has already rejected offers from the Premier League to continue his career with Milan, as the club seeks to reward him with a new contract and better salary, given his transformation into a key player in the team.
