Ismail Matar joins coaching staff of United Arab Emirates national team

The UAE Football Association has announced the appointment of former national team star Ismail Matar to the coaching staff of the UAE national team, led by Croatian coach Zlatko Dalić, starting from the current training camp taking place in the capital, Abu Dhabi.

Matar has joined the coaching staff as part of the preparations for the upcoming phase, including the Gulf Cup, where the United Arab Emirates national team aims to perform strongly and compete for the title.

Ismail Matar is considered one of the standout stars of Emirati football, having spent the majority of his career with Al Wahda, alongside his prominent presence with the national team. He has achieved numerous accomplishments and titles throughout his long career.

Matar has extensive experience in the atmosphere of the United Arab Emirates national team and local football, which will allow him to contribute to the coaching staff alongside Dalic, by sharing his experiences with the players and assisting in preparation for upcoming challenges.
