Hossam Ghaly: Al Ahly's performance was lackluster against Sekka El Hadid

Hossam Ghaly, the former star of Al Ahly FC, has criticized the performance of the red team against Sekka El Hadid, despite winning 3-0 in the Round of 32 of the Egypt Cup.

Al Ahly FC have qualified for the Round of 16 of the Egypt Cup after overcoming Sekka El Hadid 3-0 on Saturday evening at Cairo International Stadium in the Round of 32 of the competition.

Hossam Ghaly said during the analysis studio on ON Sport channel: "There are questions about Al Ahly FC's performance in the second half; the players did not know how to play the ball out from the defensive areas against a modest team like Sekka El Hadid."

He added: "There were negative things that should not happen from a team like Al Ahly FC, which has the best players in Africa, especially since the match against Sekka El Hadid is simple."

He concluded: "As Al Ahly fans, we point out the negatives so that the coaching staff can address them. There are no gains against Sekka El Hadid, except for Zizo's two goals."

Al Ahly FC will face the winner of the match between Petrojet and Delfi in the Round of 16 of the Egypt Cup.
