Amouta discusses Al Ahly's victory over Sekka El Hadid in Egypt Cup

Moroccan Al-Hussein Amouta, the coach of Al Ahly FC, spoke about his team's victory over Sekka El Hadid and their qualification for the Round of 16 in the Egypt Cup.

Al Ahly FC triumphed over Sekka El Hadid with three goals to nil in the match held at Cairo Stadium in the Egypt Cup Round of 32.

Hussein Ammouta said at the press conference after the match: "Cup matches always bring surprises, so we were prepared to achieve victory in today's encounter. We scored early and performed well."

Amouta added: "We played about 11 matches, and I believe that 26 or 27 players participated with us, which is a large number, as we aim to give the greatest possible opportunity to the players."

Regarding Reda Slim, he said: "He has not participated with us since the beginning, and he was not present in the Spain camp, and I will watch him at the earliest available opportunity."

He continued: "Aqtay Abdallah was injured, and therefore, to avoid any surprises in the Egypt Cup matches, we played the match with a nearly full-strength lineup, especially since we often see teams from the second or third divisions eliminate clubs from the competition."

It was reported: "Several players will miss the upcoming break, while the players who participated in today's match will have morning training."
