Carlos Tévez, aged 42, has confirmed that Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have given their approval to participate in the match scheduled for next December at La Bombonera, the home of Boca Juniors, the club where his football career began and ended.

Carlos Tévez stated in an interview with Argentine media outlet 'OLGA': 'I have always dreamed of seeing Cristiano and Leo play in the same team. They are the greatest players of all time. I reached out to them, especially Cristiano, and told him: I want you and Leo to be in the same team during my retirement match, so the whole world can enjoy this magic once and for all.'

He added: "He said he will be present. Convincing Leo wasn't difficult either. Both of them gave me their approval. I am very excited, and this match will be full of emotions."
