Bayern Munich snatch hard-fought win against Elversberg in Bundesliga
Bayern Munich secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory against hosts Elversberg in a match held at the Ursapharm Arena, as part of the third round of the Bundesliga.
Bayern Munich successfully opened the scoring in the 26th minute through Leonhard Karl, after a decisive pass from English star Harry Kane, giving his team the advantage before the end of the first half.
With the start of the second half, Elversberg managed to equalise in the 61st minute through Maurice Kratnamaecher, bringing the match back to square one and increasing the excitement during the remaining minutes.
Bayern Munich fought back, with Harry Kane restoring the lead for the Bavarian giants in the 72nd minute, after receiving an assist from Aleksandar Pavlović, leading his team towards securing all three points.
With this victory, Bayern Munich has moved up to 7 points, placing them fourth in the Bundesliga standings, two points behind SC Freiburg and Borussia Dortmund, and level on points with Augsburg in third place.
In contrast, Elversberg's tally remains at 6 points, placing them sixth in the Bundesliga table.
