Surprise at Al Ahly FC: Mounsef Bakrar requests position change
Riham Hamdi has revealed that Moroccan Mounsef Bakrar, a player for Al Ahly FC, has requested head coach Al-Hussein Amouta to change his position.
Riham Hamdi stated during an interview on the "Malab On" program that Mounsef Bakrar excels in the forward position, but he felt during his participation in this role that the ball does not reach him sufficiently, which prompted him to speak with the head coach.
It was clarified: "Mounsef Bakrar, many people are talking about whether he is a striker or a winger. He is essentially a striker, but I learned from my sources that when he played as a striker, he felt there was a problem and that the ball wasn't reaching him."
He felt he would be burned out if he continued in that position, so he had a session with Captain Al-Hussein Amouta and told him: "I know how to play right winger, and I have played in that position before, and if you would like to deploy me in that position, I have no problem with it."
Riham Hamdi pointed out a common factor between Mounsef Bakrar's crisis and the reports regarding striker Soufiane Benjdida, confirming that both players are suffering from the same technical issue of not receiving enough balls on the pitch.
