Tanta files complaint against Enppi over Aqtay Abdallah

Tensions have escalated between Tanta and Enppi following Tanta's board filing an official complaint to the Egyptian Football Association regarding financial rights in the transfer of Aqtay Abdallah to Al Ahly FC.

Aqtay Abdallah has joined Al Ahly FC during the last summer transfer window from Enppi.

Tanta has officially stated that its outstanding financial dues from ENPPI amount to 4.5 million Egyptian pounds, in relation to the sale of Aqtay Abdallah to Al Ahly FC. Mohamed Sadek, the club's treasurer, confirmed that the management has made intensive efforts and repeatedly contacted ENPPI officials through official and friendly channels to resolve the crisis and collect their rights, but all those attempts were met with complete disregard and without any result.

The treasurer emphasized Tanta's strong legal position, pointing out that the transfer contract between the parties is officially documented with the Egyptian Football Association dated July 9, 2025. Tanta's management relies on this official document in their complaint to the EFA.

The club's management has filed an official complaint after exhausting all means to obtain its share from the resale of the player as stipulated in the contract, which is estimated at around 15%.
