The Mexican player Edson Álvarez added that he did not want to respond to these allegations until now, but he emphasized that making accusations of such seriousness without providing any evidence is unacceptable, asserting that serious allegations should be based on evidence and presented to the relevant authorities and judicial bodies.
Álvarez has directed his legal team to take appropriate action against anyone who makes or spreads false accusations against him. He also clarified that he cannot comment on what is being said about other parties, but he reiterated that he has "no connection to the events being reported."
