Ward-Prowse Returns to Southampton in Budget Deal

Southampton has secured an agreement with West Ham United to re-sign English midfielder James Ward-Prowse, marking the player's return to his former club.

According to Sky Sports Germany, both parties have reached a full agreement regarding the transfer of Ward-Prowse, with the deal valued at less than €1 million.

The player, aged 31, is expected to sign a contract with Southampton that will run until 2028.

James Ward-Prowse is considered one of the most prominent graduates of Southampton's academy, having spent the majority of his career at the club before moving to West Ham in 2023.
