Real Madrid begins preparations for clash with Rayo Vallecano
Real Madrid have begun preparations for their match against Rayo Vallecano in LaLiga. In the penultimate training session on Thursday, defender Raúl Asencio returned to team training after recovering from a muscle injury that had kept him out of action since the end of July.
According to "Mundo Deportivo", Asensio took part in the beginning of the training session held behind closed doors at Real Madrid's city, after the team had a day off on Wednesday following their victory over AC Milan by a score of 2-1 in the UEFA Champions League.
The training session also saw the participation of Aurélien Tchouaméni, Endrick, and Thiago Pietrach, as the trio returned to group training on Sunday and were included in the squad for the match against AC Milan after completing two training sessions normally.
Eduardo Camavinga, Arda Güler, and Bernardo Silva were present in training after missing the match against AC Milan due to inherited suspension penalties from last season in the UEFA Champions League.
Real Madrid have several options in midfield, having had to rely on Valverde and Bellingham as their only first-team central midfielders against AC Milan, while Aurélien Tchouaméni played for ten minutes during the match.
In contrast, José Mourinho continues preparations for the match without injured players Rodrygo, Ferland Mendy, and Éder Militão, who are undergoing recovery programs for their injuries.
