Lewandowski levels Messi and Casemiro clash in MLS

Robert Lewandowski scored a stunning goal, while Lionel Messi assisted Casemiro's goal for Inter Miami, as the match between Chicago Fire and Inter Miami ended in a 1-1 draw in the 24th round of the MLS.

Soldier Field witnessed a massive turnout of over 63,000 spectators, having typically hosted around 20,000 fans per match, to see Messi during his visit to Chicago.

Robert Lewandowski opened the scoring for Chicago Fire in the 10th minute, capitalising on a cross from left-back Andrew Gutman and sending a brilliant header into the net. The Polish striker has continued to shine since his move to the American league, raising his tally to 7 goals and scoring in the last three consecutive matches.

Inter Miami equalised through Casemiro, who scored with a header after an assist from Messi, continuing the Brazilian star's impressive form as he netted a header for the third consecutive match.

The match featured a special encounter between several former FC Barcelona stars, as Inter Miami included Messi and Luis Suárez, while Robert Lewandowski appeared in a Chicago Fire shirt, in a game that ended without either team managing to snatch the three points.
