Hamstring injury rules Trezeguet out of Al Riyadh for 4 weeks

Al Riyadh have suffered a major blow with the news that their Egyptian player Mahmoud Hassan 'Trezeguet' will be out for 4 weeks due to an injury sustained while participating with the team in the Saudi Pro League.

Medical tests have revealed that the Egyptian international has suffered a grade two tear in his hamstring, confirming the need for a treatment and rehabilitation period of four weeks.

Al Riyadh has announced via their official account on the 'X' platform that Trezeguet will be sidelined for the specified period following the results of his medical examinations regarding his injury.

The Egyptian player continues his rehabilitation program under the supervision of the medical staff of the Egypt national team, in continuous coordination with the first team doctor of Al Riyadh, to ensure that the rehabilitation phase proceeds as required.

Trezeguet suffered an injury during Al Riyadh's match against Al Khaleej, which ended in a goalless draw, in the sixth round of the Saudi Pro League.

The injury comes at a difficult time for the international player, who will be out of action for about a month, while Al Riyadh continues its campaign in the Saudi Pro League this season.
