Rodriguez leads Diriyah to a hard-fought win over Riyadh in Saudi Pro League

Oscar Rodríguez scored the only goal of the match in the 13th minute, receiving a pass from Hussain Al-Sibyani inside the penalty area and unleashing a powerful shot with his left foot that found the back of the net.

Diriyah started the match with early attacking pressure, and Taher Wadi nearly opened the scoring in the 8th minute, following a cross from Louvro Chilvy, but the Riyadh goalkeeper saved his shot from inside the six-yard box.

Al-Riyadh attempted to respond quickly, but Victor Likhal's header in the 20th minute, following a corner taken by Bernard Mensah, went over the bar. Before that, Lovro Čhilfi wasted another chance for Al-Dar'iya in the 41st minute.

With the start of the second half, Dar'iya sought to double their lead, and Darwin Núñez shot from outside the penalty area in the 55th minute, following a pass from Óscar Rodríguez, but Riyadh's defense intervened and cleared the attempt.

Al-Dhariyah have moved up to 15 points, advancing to 8th place in the Saudi Pro League, while Riyadh remain on 9 points in 12th place after failing to equalise throughout the match.

Al-Dhariyah secured a narrow victory against Riyadh with a goal to nil in the match held on Tuesday evening during the 10th round of the Saudi Pro League, earning three important points in their campaign in the competition.
