Chelsea move late to sign Sander Berge
Chelsea have shown late interest in signing Fulham midfielder Sander Berge during the summer transfer window, as part of their efforts to strengthen their options in midfield.
According to a report from the BBC, Chelsea have explored the possibility of signing Berg before Enzo Fernández's departure, but the London club's interest did not develop into a formal offer to Fulham.
Berge is considered an important player for Fulham, who were not open to the idea of letting him go, complicating the possibility of completing the transfer in the final hours of the transfer window.
Chelsea are interested in Bergé as they seek to replace Fernández and secure additional options in midfield.
