Blow for Manchester City ahead of Porto clash
It has been confirmed that Jérémy Doku and Nico O'Reilly will miss Manchester City's match against FC Porto, scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, in the first round of the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.
Jérémy Doku continues his recovery from a calf injury sustained during the match against Arsenal in the Community Shield, while Nico O'Reilly is dealing with a back issue that also kept him out of the team's last match against Coventry.
Nico O'Reilly was injured during the warm-up before the match against Coventry, forcing the coaching staff led by Enzo Maresca to make a last-minute change to the lineup before the match began.
Manchester City are preparing to play their first match in the UEFA Champions League this season against FC Porto at the Estádio do Dragão, in a tough test for the team led by Marisca.
Reports suggest that Jérémy Doku could be close to returning in mid-September, while no clear date has been set for Nico O'Reilly's return yet.
