New signing for Al Ahly FC appears in Jeddah for medical examination

Al Ahly FC have finalised their agreement with Cercle Brugge to sign Ibrahim Diaby, who has arrived in Jeddah for a medical examination ahead of the official announcement of the deal in the coming hours.

According to French outlet 'L'Équipe', Diaby is currently in Jeddah after finalizing all financial and contractual terms regarding his move to Al Ahly FC.

The network clarified that the player will undergo medical examinations, followed by the signing of contracts and an official announcement, after Al Ahly FC reached a final agreement with Cercle Brugge during the summer transfer window.

The global network 'voetbalfocus' revealed the financial value of the deal, confirming that Al Ahly FC will pay €13.5 million for the services of Ibrahim Diaby.

Cercle Brugge have signed the player on a free transfer and will sell him for €13.5 million, which exceeds his market value of €1.5 million.

Al Ahly FC has signed Diaby at the request of coach Marino Pusic, who is looking to strengthen the squad with new players before the current summer transfer window closes.
