Decision from Marino Pusic before Al Ahly FC training resumes

Al Ahly FC's head coach Marino Bosic is preparing to resume training with several Under-21 players to compensate for the absences due to international duty.

Al Ahly FC return to training after a 7-day break that the players received following their defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns FC by 2-1 and losing the Confederations Cup.

The coaching staff is focusing on regaining physical readiness and increasing fitness levels before the resumption of official competitions after the current international break.

Al Ahly FC will be without 9 international players, including 5 with the Saudi national team in the Confederations Cup: Rayan Hamid, Zakaria Hawsawi, Ziad Al-Jahani, Saleh Abu Al-Shamat, and Firas Al-Buraikan, along with 4 foreign professionals.

The foreign quartet includes Turkish Merih Demiral, Armenian Edward Spertsyan, French Valentin Atangana, and Portuguese Francisco Trincão. Al Ahly FC will face Al-Fateh on October 9 in the eighth round, currently sitting in sixth place with 12 points.
