Como plan to secure Assan Diow with contract until 2031
Como are planning to extend Senegalese winger Assane Diallo's contract until 2031, in a move that reflects the club's commitment to the player and its desire to make him an integral part of its project in the coming years.
Como's move comes after Díaz's standout performances and increased value in the transfer market, as the player has become the focus of interest for several clubs both in Italy and abroad, most notably AS Roma and Atalanta.
Como rejected several offers for Díaz during the summer transfer window, worth over €40 million from English and Italian clubs, as the management aimed to retain the player's services and not let him go easily.
Diao is currently under contract with Como until the summer of 2029, having joined the team from Real Betis in January 2025. This gives the club a strong position in negotiations and allows them to move calmly to secure the player's future with a long-term deal.
