Diriyah close to sealing Mathys De Carvalho deal from Olympique Lyon
Al-Dhariyah have reached a preliminary agreement with young Portuguese midfielder Matheus de Carvalho from Olympique Lyon, paving the way for his signing during the current transfer window.
According to French newspaper «L'Équipe», the deal is close to being finalized, after the Saudi club reached a preliminary agreement with Olympique Lyon for around one million euros.
De Carvalho, born in 2005, has agreed to move to Al Diriyah, where he is expected to sign a contract lasting three seasons.
The Portuguese player embarks on a new experience outside France after progressing through the youth ranks at Olympique Lyon before reaching the first team.
Di Carvalho plays as a central midfielder, allowing him to perform defensive duties while also contributing to building attacks from midfield.
