Sydney Gouvou refuses to let his son go to the stands at Lyon due to fears of racism

Former Olympique Lyon striker Sydney Govou has expressed concerns about his son facing racist acts in the stands of the Groupama Stadium.

Gouffo has stated that he does not want his son to go to the stands, due to his fears of the possibility of him facing situations or attacks of a racist nature.

The former player of Olympique Lyon added that these concerns have become present for him, in light of what he considers an increase in racist incidents related to football and the stands.

Gouffo is considered one of the most prominent symbols of Olympique Lyon, having represented the club for many years and achieved numerous titles with them.
