Al Qadsiah close to sealing Diabate deal
Al Qadsiah are close to finalising their deal for young Ivorian Ali Badra Diabaté, arriving from Samsunspor, to strengthen their defensive line during the current transfer window.
Fabrizio Romano, the trusted journalist and transfer market specialist, confirmed via his account on the platform 'X' that Al Qadisiyah have reached an agreement with Samsunspor regarding the transfer.
The total value of the deal is around 8 million euros, according to Romano, with the Ivorian defender set to join Al Qadsiah competing in the Saudi Pro League.
Diabate is 19 years old, having been born in Abidjan on December 5, 2006. He stands at 1.90 meters tall and relies on his left foot for playing.
The player is not limited to the centre-back position, as he can also participate in the defensive midfield role, which gives him the ability to perform multiple tasks on the pitch.
Diabaté has joined Samsunspor in January 2026 for a modest fee, having previously had football experiences in Ivory Coast.
The Ivorian player has progressed through the youth ranks of KRC Genk before moving to Samsunspor, continuing his journey towards a new experience in the Saudi Pro League.
Al Qadsiah are awaiting the finalization of the deal, having made significant progress in negotiations, with Diabate set to don the team's jersey this season.
