Al-Hilal secured a thrilling 3-2 victory against their hosts Al-Qadsiah in the match that took place on Friday evening as part of the 11th round of the Saudi Pro League, returning to the top of the table after a match full of twists and turns.

Al-Hilal have increased their tally to 27 points at the top of the table, while Al-Qadisiyah remain on 25 points in third place after the blue team secured victory in the closing minutes.

Al-Qadisiyah started their attempts early with a shot from Tijani Reinders in the 5th minute, saved by Al-Hilal's goalkeeper, before Ollie Watkins responded with a shot that went over the bar following a cross from Gabriel Martinelli in the 15th minute.

Gabriel Martinelli opened the scoring for Al-Hilal in the 21st minute, after capitalising on an Ollie Watkins pass and shooting with his right foot inside the penalty area. However, Qadisiyah quickly equalised through Julian Quinones, who headed Musab Al-Juwayr's pass into the net in the 31st minute.

Theo Hernández tried to give Al-Hilal the lead again, but his shot in the 38th minute went wide of the post, while Matteo Retegui missed a chance for Al-Qadisiyah before the end of the first half, shooting from outside the area in the 42nd minute. The first half ended in a 1-1 draw.

After the break, Al-Hilal continued to apply pressure, with Theo Hernández missing another chance in the 56th minute, before Rúben Neves restored his team's lead in the 77th minute with a low shot from outside the box, benefiting from a pass by Sergej Milinković-Savić.

Savic enhanced the score with the third goal for Al-Hilal in the 84th minute, following a pass from Sultan Mandash inside the penalty area. However, Al-Qadisiyah reduced the deficit three minutes later when Reteigi scored with a header from a cross by Reinders after a set piece, but this did not prevent Al-Hilal from sealing the match 3-2 and regaining the lead.
