Amouta announces Al Ahly FC squad to face Smouha in Egyptian League

Al-Hussein's head coach, Amouta, has announced the squad for the first team of Al Ahly FC that will face Smouha SC tomorrow, Thursday, in the 3rd round of the Egyptian League.

Emam Ashour continues to be absent from the squad since the start of the season, following his return from the Egypt national team camp.

The Al Ahly FC squad is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Mohammed El Shenawy, Mostafa Shobeir, Hamza Alaa.

Defenders: Yassin Marai, Hadi Riyad, Yasser Ibrahim, Amr El Gazzar, Mohamed Hani, Ahmed Kouka.

The midfield consists of Ahmed Reda, Marwan Attia, Ali Mahmoud, Ahmed Sayed Zizo, and Afsha.

The attacking lineup includes Tahr Mohamed Tahr, Sofiane Benjedida, Mounsef Bakar, Hussein El Shahat, Achraf Bencharki, Karim Fouad, and Aktaï Abdullah.

Al Ahly FC secured a 2-0 victory over Z in their last match, with goals from Achraf Bencharki and Taher Mohamed Taher. This marked their second win in the competition, having started their league campaign with a 3-2 win against Eastern Company.

In terms of absences for Al Ahly FC against Smouha SC, they will miss Youssef Belamri, Akram Tawfik, and Karim El Debes due to injuries, while Emam Ashour is out due to lack of fitness. On the other hand, Al-Hussein has excluded the following players from the squad: Achraf Dari, Ahmed Eid, Tawfik Mohamed, Kabaka, Omar El Saaiy, Mohammed Abdullah, Omar Moawad, Reda Slim, Mahmoud Salah, and Mohammed Raafat.
