Malick Evouna: I was not happy to leave Al Ahly FC

Malick Evouna, the former striker of Al Ahly FC, has stated that the Red Castle remains the club closest and dearest to his heart, praising the team's status as one of the strongest clubs on the African continent.

Malick Evouna explained, during the "Odat El Labs" program broadcast on "Al Nahar" channel, that he was very eager to continue his sporting career with Al Ahly FC and to remain among its ranks for a longer period.

The Gabonese star revealed that his departure came after the club received a massive and enticing financial offer worth 8 million euros, which led Al Ahly FC's management to agree to sell him amicably.

The player concluded his statements by confirming that he was not happy with the decision to leave the red castle, while also pointing out that moving between clubs is a natural thing and a common practice in the world of football.

Al Ahly FC are preparing to face Smoha tomorrow, Thursday, in the third round of the Egyptian League.
