Approval of Al Ahly FC's request for foreign referees for matches against Pyramids FC and Zamalek SC

The Egyptian Football Association has agreed to assign foreign referees for the matches between Al Ahly FC and Pyramids FC, as well as Zamalek SC, in response to a request from the Red Castle, as announced by journalist Khaled El Ghandour on the "Stad Al Mehwar" program.

Khaled El Ghandour has explained that the referees committee will reach out to a number of European federations to nominate elite referees to officiate the two matches, aiming to ensure the highest level of neutrality and avoid any crises or refereeing objections during the encounters.

Khaled El Ghandour stated that the Football Association confirmed the legitimacy of Al Ahly FC's position, excluding Zamalek SC or Pyramids FC from having the right to object, as the red club submitted the request to the Football Association and the Clubs Association within the legal timeframe and paid the financial costs for bringing in foreign referees.

Al Ahly FC's move comes as part of their desire to employ foreign referees during the two upcoming matches, especially given the importance of these matches in the race for the league title.
