Romagnoli to Al-Sadd until summer 2030

After failing to transfer to Al-Sadd in the final hours of last winter's transfer window, Italian defender Alessio Romagnoli is on the verge of completing a move to the Qatari club this summer.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Al-Sadd and SS Lazio have exchanged documents regarding the transfer, paving the way for a final move during the current period.

Romagnoli is set to sign a contract with Al-Sadd that will last for 4 seasons, until the summer of 2030, leaving SS Lazio after four years since joining the team from AC Milan.

The player's move to Al-Sadd collapsed last January due to a failure to deposit contracts on time, despite the agreement having been signed. As a result, Romagnoli had to stay with SS Lazio for an additional six months.
