Gattuso: We want to resume work from where we left off and hope Gudmundsson returns quickly
SS Lazio drew with Juve Stabia 3-3 in the friendly match held today, Saturday, at the Formello stadium, as part of the team's preparations to resume Serie A.
After the match, Gennaro Gattuso spoke about his team's performance, saying: "We struggled a bit, as we had three days of training with heavy physical loads, and we were far from our best levels. We are also missing 8 important players, but the most important thing is to do things the right way."
Lazio's coach added: "It has been 20 days since we were together, and I can't wait to get back to work with all the players. We hope to pick up where we left off."
Gattuso addressed the situation of Albert Gudmundsson, expressing his hope of recovering the player in the near future, saying: "We hope to be able to get him back as soon as possible."
SS Lazio are preparing to resume their Serie A campaign against Monza after taking advantage of the international break to play a friendly against Juve Stabia.
