Official: Bayer 04 Leverkusen announces signing of Guéla Doué

Bayer 04 Leverkusen have officially signed Ivorian international Guéla Doué from Strasbourg, on a contract that runs until June 30, 2031, to strengthen the team's right-back position.

Guéla Doué is 23 years old, stands at 1.87 meters tall, and will wear the number 20 shirt with Bayer 04 Leverkusen. The player participated in all four matches that the Ivory Coast national team played during the FIFA World Cup.

Guéla Doué, the older brother of French international Désiré Doué, has 24 caps for the Ivory Coast national team, during which he scored three goals and provided two assists. The player said: "I had two wonderful years in France with Strasbourg, but now I want to move to the Bundesliga and join a club that made a big impression on me during our talks."

He added: "The team has a lot of talent and possesses some truly amazing players, and I look forward to playing with these players."
