Chelsea officially announces agreement to sign Honest Ahanor

Chelsea have reached an agreement to sign Italian international defender Honest Ahanor from Atalanta, with the player set to officially join the English club in 2027.

Honest Ahanor is 18 years old and played 35 matches with Atalanta last season, which was his first with the club in Bergamo, after joining from Genoa in July 2025.

The young defender has impressed with Atalanta, earning his first call-up to the senior Italian national team, where he participated in two international matches last June.

Chelsea have confirmed via their official website the agreement with Atalanta to sign Honest Ahanor, with the Italian defender set to officially start his journey with the London club in 2027.
