Wrexham make offer to sign Jamie Vardy

TalkSport has revealed that Wrexham have made an offer to sign Leicester City legend Jamie Vardy on a free transfer, after the 39-year-old striker became a free agent following his departure from Italian club Cremonese.

Despite Wrexham's interest, Vardy is not planning to make a decision about his future today, as he can sign with any club after the transfer window closes as a free agent. Reports suggest that he is considering several offers, including interest from clubs in Major League Soccer and Serie A.

Wrexham hope to convince Vardy to join the team in the coming weeks as the club seeks to bolster its attack following a rocky start to the season in the Championship.

Vardy has concluded his historic career with Leicester after 13 years, scoring 200 goals in 500 matches, and he was one of the standout stars of the team that won the Premier League title in the 2015-16 season.
