Nijstad pushes to leave Twente for Barcelona dream

Young Dutchman Ruud Nijstad is pushing hard to leave Twente and join FC Barcelona, having realized that the opportunity to join the Catalan club may not come again.

According to "Mundo Deportivo", FC Barcelona are still interested in signing the 18-year-old defender, seeing him as a suitable option to strengthen their defence, given his ability to play the ball out and his physical stature of 1.95m, alongside his technical potential.

Ruud Nijstad wants to take the opportunity to move to FC Barcelona, so he is pressuring Twente to allow him to leave, despite the Dutch club considering him an important player and being tied to a contract until 2029. They are unwilling to sell him for €8 million, which is the amount offered by FC Barcelona.

However, FC Barcelona continues its efforts in collaboration with the player, hoping to reach a solution before the transfer window closes, allowing Ruud Nijstad to complete his move to the Catalan club.
