Bayer 04 Leverkusen agrees with RC Strasbourg Alsace to sign Guéla Doué

Bayer 04 Leverkusen have reached an agreement with RC Strasbourg Alsace to sign Ivorian defender Guéla Doué, in a new deal to strengthen the right side of the German team's defense during the summer transfer window.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the value of the agreement reached €37.5 million including add-ons, after Bayer 04 Leverkusen successfully concluded negotiations with RC Strasbourg Alsace in the final hours.

Guéla Doué has received the green light from his club to travel to Germany after he gave his approval for the transfer, as he is on the verge of completing his medical examinations and officially signing with Bayer 04 Leverkusen.

Guéla Doué, 23, is one of the standout players for RC Strasbourg Alsace in the right-back position, and he also has the ability to play at centre-back. He will be an important addition to Bayer 04 Leverkusen's defence, who have made the player their primary target to strengthen the right side.
