Parma reaches agreement to sign Diego Carlos from Fenerbahçe

Parma have reached a verbal agreement to sign Brazilian defender Diego Carlos, who is set to leave Fenerbahçe and return to Serie A.

According to Fabrizio Romano, an agreement has been reached between the parties for the veteran defender to move to Parma, making him the Italian club's top target in the final hours of the transfer window.

Diego Carlos has booked a trip to Italy on Monday for medical examinations and to complete final procedures ahead of the official announcement of the deal.

The Brazilian defender returns to Serie A after spending last season with Como, where he made 27 appearances and scored one goal, before returning to Fenerbahçe, which is now preparing to allow him to leave.
